SYNOPSIS
A psychological thriller about a seemingly innocent love affair that goes terribly wrong, Truth features a star-making performance by Sean Paul Lockhart. A chance internet encounter brings the cute, affable Caleb (Lockhart) and the hunky older Jeremy (writher-director Rob Moretti) together. Jeremy seduces the vulnerable young man with compliments, attention and the promise of a secure relationship. Caleb succumbs to the advances and a sensual affair begins. But beneath Caleb’s shy smile and innocent eyes lies a troubled young man, and Jeremy harbors his own dark secrets and lies which, together, threaten the relationship. This budding romance soon triggers an unexpected chain of events as trust is violated, tempers rise and the destructive side of love takes over. Lockhart (Milk, Judas Kiss) is amazing (and very sexy) in a demanding role that exposes the hidden demons buried deep inside each of us.

Stranger Than Fiction: The Making of ‘TRUTH’
QUEERTY.COM: BRENT CORRIGAN’S LATEST BID FOR MAINSTREAM STARDOM SPEAKS THE ‘TRUTH’
Former porn star Brent Corrigan continues to expand his, ahem, straight acting resume as Sean Paul Lockhart with his turn in the torrid new drama Truth. In the indie psychological thriller Lockhart stars as Caleb, who meets and quickly falls in love with Jeremy (Rob Moretti), while struggling to keep his dark side in check.
The film is currently screening at film fests in Europe and the U.S., including San Diego on October 19, and will be released on DVD in February.
CHICAGOPRIDE.COM: TRUTH OR DARE, AN INTERVIEW WITH SEAN PAUL LOCKHART
Truth (Left of Center Entertainment and Border 2 Border Entertainment), written, directed by and co-starring Rob Moretti, is a romantic thriller full of its fair share of twists and turns. In the lead role of Caleb, Sean Paul Lockhart (who may be recognizable to some viewers from his porn career as Brent Corrigan) brings the right amount of naïve and not-quite-right to the character. When the film opens, Caleb is in jail being questioned by psychiatrist Barbara (Blanche Baker of Sixteen Candles fame), and as the story progresses we learn that a murder has been committed. Whether or not it was the trusting Caleb, who became involved with the older Jeremy (Moretti) only to discover that his new lover hasn’t been completely honest with him, will keep you guessing until the end. I spoke with Sean about the movie and his career in October 2013. (Truth is screening as part of the Reeling Film Festival on Nov. 8 at The Logan Theater.) [Read the entire interview here!]
SEAN-PAUL-LOCKHART.COM: SHOOTING ‘TRUTH’ THE MOVIE
So it has come and gone.
What will be said as my crowing achievement of 2012. And if we’re being honest if very well may one day be considered my best work of the last five years.
We’ve wrapped filming “Truth the Movie” – a working title (that means the final name of the movie has not yet been decided upon). If you follow me on Twitter and “Like” my Brent Corrigan Facebook Fanpage then you know I’ve been all but MIA for the past 45 or so days due to total immersion in this latest project. You may remember back in August and September when we campaigned to help raise some the production funds needed to help make the movie a reality. Once again, if you were a part of donating to that campaign, or you used the “share” buttons to help get the word out, thank you once again! [Read the entire article here!]

EXAMINER.COM: ‘TRUTH’ IS A CRAZY RIDE
Artsploitation Films is about to release “Truth.” This Psychological thriller had me biting my nails. Starring Sean Patrick Lockhart as Caleb, the beautiful, but damaged young man who tries to hide his mentally ill mother. Caleb also tries to hide the abuse she heaped on him his whole childhood. Caleb meets Jeremy, (Rob Moretti), who is older than he is, but they hit it off after a bit of a rocky start. Before you can say, “Caleb’s strange,” they are having intimate moments and Caleb gets deeper into his lies. [Read the entire article here!]
ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Rob Moretti began acting at the age of 14. Within two years of studying his craft, he landed a co-starring role in his first feature film entitled House on Tombstone Hill. Not long after, he landed other roles in both mainstream and indie films such as Quiet Winter, Scenes From A Mall and The Beat. In 1994 he created his own production company in an effort to make his first film. During the process, Rob produced a number of short films, the most memorable and rewarding being Evil & Upside Down by Goran Dukic and starring Will Arnett. He has also produced and was assistant director on a number of other projects. Rob made his directorial debut with the feature film Crutch, which landed in the Top 50 DVD Rentals in the US for three consecutive weeks in January 2005. It has been re-released in 2009 on DVD independently and continues to remain in the Top 100 Rentals of Gay/Lesbian movies on Amazon. He can be seen in An Affirmative Act, Phantom Images and many more upcoming films.
